    Fundraising numbers for WI's House members

    From WisPolitics.com, the fundraising numbers for the first quarter of 2008.

    -- U.S. Rep. Steve Kagen outraised GOP challenger John Gard in the first quarter of the year.

    Kagen's campaign reported $230,221 raised between Jan. 1 and March 31, including $106,604 in PAC contributions. Kagen has raised more than $1.1 million for his re-election campaign during the current cycle and had $760,111 in the bank at the end of the quarter.

    Gard raised $195,414 during the quarter, including $45,700 in PAC contributions, and had $427,902 cash on hand. He has raised $555,046 for the cycle.

    -- Here are numbers for the cycle, which covers Jan. 1, 2007, through March 31, for the rest of Wisconsin’s members of the U.S. House:

    *Paul Ryan, R-Janesville, $946, 653 raised; $581,635 spent, $1,623,393 cash on hand.

    *Tammy Baldwin, D-Madison, $830,674 raised; $787,870 spent; $322,945 cash on hand.

    *Ron Kind, D-La Crosse, $679,492 raised; $338,638 spent; $729,186 cash on hand.

    *Gwen Moore, D-Milwaukee, $317,366 raised; $310,142 spent; $56,312 cash on hand.

    *Jim Sensenbrenner, R-Menomonee Falls, $235,812 raised; $179,249 spent; $550,757 cash on hand.
