Soglin misses the point completely
Former Madison Mayor and paid anti-WMC perennial whiner, Paul Soglin disses conservative interest groups he claims will fill the WMC void in the state Supreme Court race.
Soglin conveniently and completely fails to mention the much richer and better financed WEAC and fellow trade unions, Greater Wisconsin Committee, One Wisconsin Now, Building a Stronger Wisconsin, Advancing Wisconsin, Progressive Majority... (and on and on it goes) poised and ready to provide help and record funding for Justice Abrahamson.
It's a bit disingenuous, don't you think?

If the fellow whose blogs you post on your list is to be believed, and he seems to have good evidence, Justice Abrahamson is not one to be limited by the law, at least not our law or constitution. She wants to incorporate law, legal ideas and constitutions from OTHER countries when she analyzes our laws here. Once again, we need to remind people that, like it or not, our laws and constitutions either mean what they say, or they can mean anything, or nothing, at the whim of folks like Ms. Abrahamson. Enough is enough. We can go a big step toward ending legal corruption in WI by getting rid of Mrs. A.

We used to fear "creeping socialism." Now that socialism fairly gallops, we need the protections of our constitutions even more.
