Holiday Chatter
Happy New Year! I hope all your dreams for 2010 come true! (Really!) I’d like to be your silent cheerleader as you to strive to reach all those goals you set for 2010.
My goals center around the work I’m doing with Habitat for Humanity, USA Youth and as always, politics. Of course, FoxPolitics News will continue to be at the beginning of every day – and at the center of most everything else that goes on most days, which is sure to include working hard for conservatives running in 2010 races.
My dreams are filled with longing and hopes for my family. Both kids are in Denver, where we spent an absolutely delightful Christmas holiday. “Dr. Beth” was on duty or on call most of the time we were there, but was able to get away from the hospital enough to help me cook Christmas dinner and to enjoy late evenings with us as well. Son Pete and husband Dave did the only skiing of this trip, checking out the early snow at Copper Mountain. We’ll all ski together for several days in March at Steamboat Springs – an annual tradition. Pete is a very hot skier, has easily surpassed his expert-level Dad and has been a great instructor to help me navigate the powder and deep moguls.
19 year-old Pete was thrilled with two books from my library that I thought he would enjoy – The Libertarian Reader: Classic and Contemporary Writings from Lao Tzu to Milton Friedman (David Boaz) and Rewriting History (Dick Morris). Of course, he was much more thrilled with the season’s ski pass his sister gave him and the two new tires we gifted for his 1996 Honda Civic.
As all parents must, I yearn deeply for my kids to be happy, to feel loved and to find contentment.
And for each of you, I wish you joy, love and fulfillment in 2010. I’m very grateful you share my love of news – and that you enjoy and appreciate FoxPolitics. Thank you!

Jo,
Wishing you a New Year full of God's richest blessings. I appreciate your collecting and digesting the news and putting it into a form that keeps people informed about what is happening in our local Valley, nearby localities and, of course, the State. Even though we are not there full-time, we like to "keep up".

(Thu Dec 31 08:43:37 2009)
Jo,
Thanks for the good wishes and for your ongoing good work here. All the best to you and your family in 2010.

Jo,
My wish for you, your family, and all the other readers is that the joy you felt over the past few days may be carried with you throughout the year.
2010 starts a new decade so I'm looking at this New Year's day as an opportunity to hit the big red "Reset" button to get a fresh start. For those who feel the same (and would like to store the last ten in a box somewhere rather than having to re-live them), I hope your future is bright, healthy, and filled with joy.

JO:
Thanks for all you do to keep us informed on the local level as well as the state and national news of interest. I wish you and your family the best in 2010 and want to say that your work is very much appreciated as it would be difficult for the average citizen to find the facts that you do.

Jo,
I wish a happy and healthy new year for you and your family. I want to thank you for all of the time and effort you give to help us stay informed.

God bless you and the work you do here, Jo. I hope this year will bring us "good tidings of great joy" rather than "...and they were sore afraid," that's been going on in 2009.
A Happy and Prosperous New Year to all here.

Hi Jo
Happy New Year to you and yours. Keep those cards and letters coming. Cheers.

Richard A. Thompson (Thu Dec 31 13:05:16 2009)
Jo, I read you daily from Colorado Springs. I love reading FoxPolitics. Thanks for all you do.

Jan T (Thu Dec 31 14:36:45 2009)
A Happy, Healthy, and Prosperous New Year to you and the Family. Thanks for all you do to further conservative, practical solutions when we find ourselves surrounded with waves of ever increasing bureaucrcy. The Freedom Loving American will choose their destiny, we can only show another way to look at our lives. You're doing a good job at that.

Richard Parins (Thu Dec 31 16:24:32 2009)
Happy Holidays, and Blessings to you
and your family in 2010.
Glad Pete has found something he is
enjoying ibn Colorado.
Keep up the good work, keeping us all
informed. Viv Huth
