LAST CHANCE - 8th CD candidate forum, next Tuesday
Right here in river city – close by and hundreds of parking places. The Outagamie County Republican Women are hosting a candidate forum September 7, 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM, at Fox Valley Lutheran High School, 5300 N. Meade St., Appleton. E-mail me for more information if needed; all GOP candidates (Terri McCormick, Reid Ribble, Roger Roth) will participate. Audience members may submit questions for the candidates. If you’ve already made your decision, bring your neighbors, friends and relatives to help them make their decision!
Well, I stretched the truth a bit in the header. The September 7 candidate forum is the last prime time candidate forum. The Heart of the Valley Chamber of Commerce is hosting a forum Friday morning, September 10, 7:30 AM – 9:30 AM at the Citizens Bank, 205 E. 4th Street, Kaukauna. Steve Kagen, Terri McCormick, Reid Ribble and Roger Roth participating. Candidates have been asked to answer two questions:
- Success in job creation both in Wisconsin and the United States can only be achieved by improvement in the business climate. What specifically would you do to achieve this?
- Obviously, the Federal deficit is growing dramatically and will continue to do so over at least, the next ten years. What would you do specifically, to balance the budget, and bring the total debt load down?
