Ryan, Lasee: Two true blue red-state conservatives

Paul Ryan – I’m a big fan. A nerdy guy with a head on his shoulders for numbers and strategy unabashedly taking on the establishment – and anybody else who just might be picking for a fight (Rep. Wasserman Shultz, are you listening?)

I’ve had a few opportunities to talk with the esteemed congressman - but not since he’s been advocating non-stop for this Roadmap of his. So I’m looking forward to visiting with him when he’s right here in our backyard Monday, October 11.

Rep. Ryan will be in De Pere stumping for State Senate candidate Frank Lasee – another well-grounded, well-versed fiscal conservative. Per Rep. Ryan,
Frank Lasee is exactly the type of conservative leader we need in Madison. Please come out and support Frank, and help keep the 1st State Senate seat in conservative hands!
    From Frank Lasee:
As you know, the stakes this year couldn’t be higher. Governor Doyle and the tax-and-spend liberals in Madison have taken our state way off course, and it will take conservative leadership to turn things around and get Wisconsin working again. But, the Madison politicians and their liberal friends won’t let that happen without a fight. They are well funded, and we must match them if we are to defeat their misguided agenda in the 1st Senate District this November.

That’s why Congressman Paul Ryan is coming to help, and I hope I can count on your help as well! My campaign is planning a noon to 2:00pm luncheon October 11 with Congressman Ryan at Legends Restaurant in De Pere.

Congressman Ryan is coming to help because this campaign is a key race we simply must win if we are to truly change direction in Madison. The other side is ready for the fight.
So, you can help Frank Lasee bring common sense, conservative leadership back to Wisconsin. And at the same time, you can hear Paul Ryan expound on his Roadmap, detail the chances for Republican majorities in the House and Senate and banter about whom he sees getting through the gauntlets on the way to 2012. Good stuff.

Monday, October 11, 12-2:00 PM, Luncheon event
    Legends Restaurant
875 Heritage Road, De Pere, WI
    Suggested Contribution $50
RSVP to Amy Lasee at 920-265-7709 or via email.

    COMMENTS

Frank Lasee is a risky endorsement for Ryan, as a guy who seems to have odd ideas about arming teachers, etc.

Why isn't he here to help Ribble? who seems to need it more than Frank. Ryan already probable sees Ribble as competition now. That would fit his style.

Oh no, Ryan doesn't see Ribble as competition. He sees him as a welcome peer who will replace a radical liberal. Except for the "radical" part, he said as much the other day at the Lasee event.
