Ribble meets Kagen in 1st televised debate - tonight

There’s lots of stuff I want to know. (What would you like to ask the candidates?) At this point, it’s mostly about the lies Rep. Kagen has been broadcasting about Reid Ribble’s position on reforming Social Security. I want to hear Kagen defend his health care vote and Ribble present his concrete solutions for Obamacare moving forward.

Show your support, encourage Mr. Ribble. Be there. This election is way too important to ignore, much less take for granted.

    7:00 PM , Thursday, October 7
    St. Norbert College
Abbot Pennings Hall of Fine Arts
    Byron L. Walter Theatre
316 Third St (at College Avenue), De Pere

Pre-Debate Rally for Ribble supporters. Call or e-mail Kerry for details. 920-499-4000.

If you can't attend tonight, Fox11 WLUK TV will be streaming the debate live and also, I understand, broadcasting the debate in its entirety Saturday night, 7:00 PM.

Are we better off now than we were 4 years ago when Mr. Kagan took office?? That is the campaign. I think we all know the answer to that one! Remember the democrats took control of congress in 2007 and what have they done "TO" us since then? Reid the foundational principles of this country are on your side, I am sure you will let them shine with your answers. Good Luck

I am deeply and profoundly disappointed in the manner that Ribbles comments re: SSI were taken out of context.

Question? Will Ribble be able to fit in with the Washington establishment, yet advance a decent and effective agenda?

Oh my gosh, great question David. You too Jay. Great.

David, I don't understand what you're profoundly disappointed in. Are you disappointed that Kagen's campaign cherry-picked a portion out of one sentence of a Ribble speech? Are you disappointed that Ribble didn't come out swinging at this egregious effort to make a lie seem true? What? And what does it have to do with Ribble functioning well in Washington?

I'm interested to know. Please enlighten me.

    Thanks.

C.R. You missed the point. David's question was as above. He is wondering if Mr. Ribble will be able to tend to business the D.C. establishment in a decent and effective way. Answer that question. He was disappointed in Mr. Ribble's reaction to the Kagen ad, as were a lot of people. Perhaps tonight, Mr. Ribble can rip out a loud resounding objection to Kagen's misinterpretation of Mr. Ribble's stand on social security. Surely he can blast Kagen out of the water to get to the truth. And that does not answer your question, but what IS your point. Other than to annoy David's valid point. "will Ribble be able to fit in..."

Ribble's position on SS is not clear.
Why not ask him what he would do?
