Nelson is in; running for County Exec post
Friday afternoon’s WisPolitics report mentions that “several sources say outgoing state Rep. Tom Nelson is weighing a bid for Outagamie County exec.” My sources say as of this weekend, Nelson is in.
Of course, candidates for reigning in (and reining in?) the county exec’s office aren’t candidates until they collect their requisite 500 nomination signatures before 5:00 PM Tuesday, January 4.
As of now, Nelson joins five other prospective County Exec candidates: Grand Chute Chairman Mike Marsden, County Supervisors Charles Kramer and Ann Strauch, former county supervisor Mike Thomas and former Wisconsin state Treasurer Jack Voight.

"Little Tommy" Nelson is running for Outagamie County Executive.
Anyone who cannot see through this charade is blind. "Little Tommy" has never worked outside government in his entire life. He has no other skill set.
The residents of Outagamie County mean nothing to "Little Tommy". They are nothing more than pawns in his climb to the 8th Congressional seat. He needs to stay relevant for 2 more years.
Elect him...he will never be working for you. He will begin his 2012 Congressional Campaign on Day 1 and use that seat to collect a salary while he does it.
